Ordinarily I don't want to get too political on this blog but this is an issue that affects all of us.  The internet is a wonderful place where people are allowed (at least in this country) to express themselves freely.  In a time where so much is controlled by the government and large corporations the internet offers a space for anyone to make themselves heard by the world.  This is especially pertinent to the blogs and forums that have developed the fixed gear scene that we know today.  I think that the fixed gear scene is unique in that it is -at least to my knowledge- the first "action sport" to bloom within the golden age of the internet.  I also think it's unique in the fact that we have developed such a close community of people despite boundaries of continents and languages.  It is something that I love being a part of and don't want taken away from me anytime soon.  Get more info on this issue at Fight for the Future
